Release notes for Polymerix:

Version 1.3

1.  The copolymer beta version (PolymerixV2Beta) is included in 
    the distribution.  A shortcut to run this program is created 
    on the desktop and on the start menu.  It should operate just
    as the normal version for homopolymer analysis.

2.  An "Edit Copy Spectrum Data" menu command was added that copies,
    from the Data Processing view, either the top spectrum or the 
    bottom spectrum, to the clipboard in a list format.  The spectrum
    that's copied is the last one that was clicked.
    
3.  A related command, "File Export Spectrum...", was added.  This
    command allows you to save the spectrum list to an ASCII file.  It's
    tab-delimited so can be easily imported into Excel, for instance.

4.  A bug in the MassLynx importer was fixed.

1.  This version includes a number of performance enhancements.

2.  Combining Homopolymer series results where alpha and omega
    end groups were specified failed to logically combine them.

Version 1.2

1.  EDIT OPTIONS COLORS allows the user to set colors for spectrum
    and chromatogram displays.

2.  Improvements were made to DATA EXPLORER... IMPORT CURRENT SPECTRUM
    to retrieve the currently active and possibly processed DE spectrum.

Version 1.1

Changes:

1.  In Homopolymer Analysis, Series Setup, if a Homopolyer Series
    Definition is NOT enabled, but contains a Repeat Formula, that
    repeat formula is used to compute degree of polymerization (DP)
    values for the entire spectrum, within its processing mass range.
    This is useful for high molecular weight polymers where the
    individual oligomers are not resolved.  Please note that the
    on-line help has not yet been updated to reflect this change.

Fixes:

1.  Results in the Homopolymer Results Summary table were formatted
    incorrectly on some PCs with the language set to other than English.

2.  FILE IMPORT SPECTRUM... DATA EXPLORER... IMPORT CURRENT SPECTRUM
    was fixed.

Fixes:

1.  Chromatograms were not displayed correctly.
2.  Some fields in the Homopolymer Analysis Summary screen were
    incorrectly displayed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Polymerix requires either Windows NT Version 4.0 with Service Pack 3 or 
later, and Internet Explorer 3.0 or later, or Windows 2000, or Windows
XP.

It will not run on Windows 95, 98, or ME.  

Polymerix also requires that the PC have a network interface card (NIC) 
installed.
