Sierra Analytics, Inc. provides advanced software and consulting services in analytical chemistry, with emphasis on mass spectrometry. The company was founded in January 1997, and has established a unique product base and a successful consulting record.

The company's principals, Scott Campbell, David Stranz, and Bill McKinney, have 70 years of combined experience in hands-on analytical chemical laboratory research for major chemical companies, and have worked for the past fifteen years in software development for the analytical instrument industry.

Sierra Analytics currently has available two software products for mass spectrometry: Polymerix, a program that deconvolves molecular weight distribution spectra of polymers, hydrocarbons, and similar materials, and  Apex, a package that assists in combinatorial chemistry library design and mass spectral analysis.

In addition to its product-oriented focus, Sierra Analytics also provides expert technical consulting and contract services for software development, software testing, and technical writing for analytical chemistry.
